The New Era.

Jupiterkit scrambled from the nursery and Featherdream followed. Her fur was sleek and shiny, newly groomed by her mother. Berrynose stopped Stormkit before he could leave the nursery and let him watch from the entrance.

Lynxeye took his place beneath the gathering spot and watched the Clan gather

Before Dangerkit could scramble away, WarFeather cleaned her fur.

Dangerkit walked up to high mountain, her fur was glossy and her eyes sparkled.

RageStar spoke loud and clear "Dangerkit and Jupiterkit please step forward"

Dangerkit stepped forward.

RageStar resumed her speech. "This is a proud day for WarClan, by naming apprentices we show WarClan will survive and remain strong. Jupiterkit, Dangerkit, from now on until you receive your warrior name you two will be known as Dangerpaw and Jupiterpaw." RageStar felt the winds of change run through her fur and then she spoke once more "Lynxeye, you are ready for an apprentice, Dangerpaw, you will be her mentor. I know you will pass on your Strength and wisdom to Dangerpaw, and teach her the skills that will make her a brave warrior of WarClan." RageStar smiled and looked to JupiterPaw
"WarFearther, you are ready for an apprentice, you will be Jupiterpaw's mentor. I know you will pass on your fierceness and determination to Jupiterpaw, and teach her the skills that will make her a brave warrior of WarClan" RageStar chanted the apprentice's names.

RangerSpirit lied down in a patch of grass on her last breath.

ChallengeFang cried over Rangerspirit.

Lynxeye purred and noticed that Jupiterpaw flicked her ears backwards. He knew it was about Rangerspirit, but he decided to say nothing. He touched noses with his apprentice with an affectionate purr.

Jupiterpaw walked towards Warfeather and touched noses with her mentor.

Featherdream and Berrynose chanted their names. "Jupiterpaw! Dangerpaw!" They yowled in unison.

Stormkit looked past the camp wall and watched as bleeding cats trecked away from the Clans to the place where he had taught Fallenpaw how to hunt.

Warfeather ran over to Rangerspirit "Rangerspirit!" she sighed and nuzzled her "Please don't die on me" she whispered "Dangerpaw needs you now more than ever!" she said, leaning over the half-dead Rangerspirit.

Dangerpaw dashed over to Rangerspirit and snuggled into her soft fur.

Challengefang nuzzledher face into her mother's fur.

RageStar leaped over to her sister and looked around her "Death berrys!" she gasped "She knows never to eat those! It must be murder!" she growled.

Rangerspirit coughed "I might live, I was strong-- before-- the berries. I shall be strong once more" she said slowly.

Stonepelt looked down at Rangerspirit shocked.
Spottedheart cried.
Duskpelt watched, unsure what to do. He had to do something, he ran into the medicien cat den and sniffed around, he found tancy andd remembered that was used for deathberries. He put them next to Rangerspirit. "Try eating this." He said gently.

Rangerspirit lapped up the tansy "Thank you Duskpelt" she said softly.

RageStar was still in a state of shock.

ChallengeFang was examining her mother "Guys..... she has a gash across her side." she reported.

Dangerpaw ran into the medicine cat's den and brought out some cobwebs, she placed them gently on top of the gash.

WarFeather watched Dangerpaw.

Jupiterpaw sniffed the scarlet red colored berries. "Who would do such a thing to Ranegerspirit?" She mewed quietly, a suddenly flash of her brother's pelt popping into her mind. She snarled angrily at herself and shook it away. 'Mouse-brain! He was angry sure but he would NEVER betray us like that!' Her mind spat.

Berrynose walked into the medicine cat den and brought poppy seeds for Ragestar. "Eat these, please. It will dull the shock. I will take good care of Rangerspirit." He told Ragestar, his eyes reassuring.

Featherdream kept Stormkit in the nursery and watched from there.

Lynxeye was very confused. Jupiterpaw was right, who would want to poison a Clan cat?

RageStar nodded "Thank you Berrynose" she mummbled as she ate the seeds.

Rangerspirit started to gradually close her eyes.

ChallengeFang sighed.

Dangerpaw had a vision "Two worlds will colide and burn to the ground, only one black lie will save them"

Berrynose, who was purring, looked up with an absolutely terrified look. "What did you say?" He asked Dangerpaw.

Jupiterpaw flicked her ears nervously. She didnt know what it meant either.

Stormkit snorted as he watched the cats and Featherdream licked his head. "Dont worry, you will get your chance to be like them." She purred.

Stormkit snorted again. "Yeah, when Im old enough to be an elder!" He spat back, walking into the nursery to go to sleep.

Lynxeye tipped his head. 'What does she mean?' He thought.

(What does it mean? PM it to me so Berrynose can interperate it.)

Dangerpaw started shivering "So cold so so cold" she said, still having flashes of the vision. Dangerpaw started to slowly crouch down and curled herself up.

Warfeather curled around Dangerpaw.

RageStar tried to sooth the young apprentice.

RangerSpirit went out hunting for the clan, they had the deepest snow compared to SilverClan, so, she knew her clan would be needing food.

ChallengeFang went out with her mother.

Berrynose's eyes went blank, and he stared past the camp wall, his eyes stretched wide in horror. "SilverClan will burn, A black lie lives within camp, and someone so close to another will be apart of the world." He yowled loudly, his ears back as the visions enetered his mind. The same visions that Dangerpaw were having.

Lynxeye looked at Berrynose in pure terror.

Stormkit was snuggled into his mother's fur. Featherdream pushed him away and walked towards her mate.

Jupiterpaw flicked her ears nervously once more. By the sound of it, nobody in the Clan would like this one bit.

Dangerpaw looked up and shook off her pelt and jumped into a tree to escape from the stares.

Jupiterpaw looked after the she-cat and stared at her questioningly. She shrugged and took a chaffinch over to Berrynose and Featherdream and watched them share it.

Stormkit snorted at the sight of his sister and padded back into the nursery.

Lynxeye sighed with a shake of his head as he watched Stormkit.

Dangerpaw sharpened her claws on the tree branch and ate a raven. She was worried that her connection with StarClan this young would kill her. That, and the fact that she didn't really have any friends made her more worried and more sad.

Jupiterpaw walked over towards her mentor. "Tommorrow can we practice fight?" She mewed, her eyes shining.

Lynxeye walked over to the tree. "Dangerpaw, how would you like to practice your hunting skills tommorrow at SunHigh and do a patrol at sunset with me, Jupiterpaw and Featherdream?" He asked from under the tree.

"That'd be fine" Dangerpaw responded and snuggled up into her father's fur.

Lynxeye licked his daughters head. "Everything okay?" He asked her, his eyes soft.

Stormkit curled angrily up in his nest. 'Tommorrow I am going to see Fallenpaw, weather anybody likes it or not.' He decided, white jets of hate building up in his chest.

Warfang appeared next to Stormkit "If you love her that much, why don't you join her? You'd get in less trouble if you did" she said.

Dangerpaw shock her head as tears rolled down her long fur.

Lynxeye wrapped his tail around Dangerpaw and licked her ears comfortingly. "Come on, you can tell me." He mewed.

Stormkit looked up at the black she-cat who had suddenly entered his den. "You have a point." He whispered quietly. "Maybe I should go now... While everyone is confused..." He went on even quieter.

Berrynose licked Jupiterpaw on the head and then he licked Featherdream on the head. "I am going to go see if everyone is okay." He mewed, walking away.

"Hurry Stormkit" Warfang whispered.

Dangerpaw lifted her head from Lynxeye's fur "I don't have any friends. At least mom had you growing up. Stormkit's a piece of Foxdung and I don't know Jupiterpaw very well"

Lynxeye looked sympathetically at his daughter. "Dont worry, in time you will get to know Jupiterpaw, and you will like Stormkit more and more. There will be more apprentices and warriors, so dont worry." He purred, licking the top of her head again.

Stormkit nodded and weaved through the nursery and out the back way he had made a while before out of boredom. It was a hole big enough for an apprentice to squeeze through, and there was a bush guarding it so nobody noticed.

Dangerpaw nodded.

Stormkit headed on his way to SilverClan territory. He had gone this way only a few times, but he knew he would be able to find his way to Fallenpaw's territory if he needed.

Lynxeye smiled. "Good. Now go get some sleep. You will need it." He said, flicking his daughter behind the ears with his tail.

Dangerpaw sighed and went into the tree again.

Lynxeye walked over to Featherdream and told her she was going to go on patrol with him, Dangerpaw and Jupiterpaw.

Featherdream purred. "Alrighty then." She mewed, slipping away to go tell Jupiterpaw to prepare herself for tommorrow.

Stormkit arrived at the border and took a drink from a puddle nearby. He sniffed the air and hopped over eagerly.
