Winds of Change

"The mother is blind. She shall soon see" FlowerSpirit told Bramble with much certainty.

Bramble nodded and walked into the warrior's den.

Flowerspirit went into the medicine cat den and lied down next to Leafpelt.

Leafpelt stirred slightly and looked at Flowerspirit. "Good night." She meowed, curling back up and resting her kinked tail over her nose.

Flowerspirit purred a calm goodnight as she feel asleep.

BlueFur lied down in the warriors den, something heavy laying on her heart as she feel asleep.

Honeypalm curled up in the warriors den in a corner and fell asleep comfortably.

Leafpelt purred quietly and fell asleep.

FLowerspirit slept.

Bluefur slept, bur not soundly, seeing Honeypalm with Spiderweb agitated her for some reason.

Spiderweb yawned then fell asleep. He softly purred in his sleep.

Bluefur stirred slightly in her sleep.

Flowerspirit dreamed of their old home.

Honeypalm blinked the sleep away from her eyes as the sun pierced through the branches of the warriors den.

Leafpelt didnt wake up.

Bluefur yawned "Good morning Honeypalm" she meowed kindly, feeling the warm sun on her glossy blue pelt.

FlowerSpirit shook Leafpelt "Leafpelt!" she meowed.

Honeypalm purred and looked at Bluefur. She felt a stab of sadness. 'She would have made a great mate for Nighteye.' She thought.

Leafpelt still didnt wake, though she twitched her tail as if in pursuit of prey.

Leafpelt was crouched low in the brown undergrowth, her tail twitching in anticipation as a large, white squirrel nibbled on the grass. She thought it's color was unusual, but it was prey nontheless. She dashed forward and bit into it's neck. The squirrel turned around and, with giant, red eyes and pink teeth, bit Leafpelt back.

Leafpelt jerked awake. "The prey will fight back! Beware the white prey animals!" She yowled.

Bluefur smiled, wondering what lied deep in Honeypalm's eyes, but she went out hunting no less, with hopes of finding Nighteye's body.

FlowerSpirit jumped back "Are you okay!?" she asked, worried for her mentor "Prey cant fight back! And there is no white animals unless it's covered in snow!"

Leafpelt shook her head. "Your still young, you wouldnt know. They dance about during the summer, teasing you with their red eyes." She hissed.

Honeypalm licked her paws.

Flowerspirit nodded "Albino prey.. interesting"

"The only white prey that is safe is rabbits I tell you." Leafpelt mewed, getting up and walking away.

FlowerSpirit nodded slowly.

Leafpelt sat down beside the river and watched as a white squirrel flashed towards a twoleg fence.

FlowerSpirit shook her rusty gold head.

Gempaw brought back two large, fat white rabbits and dropped them on the fresh-kil pile. She headed towards Honeypalm. "We need to talk." She meowed.

Honeypalm nodded and the two left for the forest.

Spiderweb emerged from the warriors den, he yawned then spotted Honeypalm's tail tip disappear. He walked to her and noticed Gempaw. "Hey guys." He purred.

"Hey." Honeypalm meowed, giving Gempaw a glare.

"He can follow, he just has to promise not to tell anyone or...." Gempaw said, walking towards Spiderweb and unsheathing her claws and setting her paw on Spiderweb's neck. She sheathed her claws and bounded away.

Honeypalm shrugged and followed.

Spiderweb was calm. He chuckled softly then followed.

Gempaw sat down on a rock and stared up into the sky, her eyes bright and shining with stars of silverpelt glittering inside the. "I have a confession to make." She meowed.

Honeypalm nodded and sat down, her honey-golden fur glistening. "What is it?" She asked, following Gempaw's gaze.

"I have been secretly meeting with a kittypet...." She meowed, fumbling with her paws. She looked towards twolegplace and her gaze softened. "He is the sweetest cat I have ever met...." She let out a relaxed sigh, her eyes filled with love.

Honeypalm nodded knowingly. "Do not regret your descision, Gempaw, always know that I will help you with anything." She purred.

Spiderweb nodded. "Cool."
