The Great Journey

DangerSight heard the crash, it seemed to sting her ears "She is adventures no less" she seemed to hiss "I'm sure they will be welcomed, RageStar might not like you and Floatfire's...... relationship, but she does not bring the kits into the feud." she meowed.

Jupiternose nodded approvingly. "Good. Just like a queen doesnt have to, I wont tell the Clan who the father is until I am ready to tell the kits myself, or some cat finds out." She mewed.

Tawnypaw ventured deeper. It seemed untouched in the back of the cave. There was a glistening pool suddenly, and she waded in. She sniffed the water. "Smells foul." She spat.

DangerSight suddenly saw what Tawnypaw saw.

Tawnypaw waded in even more and tried seeing how deep it went. "Ew its stinks like crowfood." She hissed, turning around in a fenzy. She got out and walked under the hole she had left as the stalagmite had fallen. She looked at her fur. "Bat droppings!" She yowled loudly.

Jupiternose flicked her ears with a purr. "I am not sleeping with that stench in my nest at all." She mewed, amusement flickering across her face.

DangerSight laughed, but, it did not reach her eyes, or her heart.

Tawnypaw came grumbling back into the main area and shook her paws angrily.

Jupiternose slapped her paw over her nose. "Please go and wash in the snow or something." She snapped, slightly purring.

DangerSight's look on her face said enough, it was louder than words that she agreed with JupiterNose.

BlazeShadow chuckled as he saw the two young cats.

Tawnypaw grumbled as she walked out. "I dont like it just as much as you do!" She called over her shoulder, feeling stupid for making such a mistake. She rolled around in the snow behind the cave and thoroughly washing the snow through her fur to get all the bat dung off.

Jupiternose called after the young apprentice, "I better not smell that stuff when you get back in here, but dont risk your life either!" She mewed.

"I would much rather risk her life" DangerSight mumbled.

"Oh dont be like that. If Tawnypaw doesnt go back to her mother well... Then you might as well call us crowfood." Jupiternose mewed.

Tawnypaw came back into the cave, her fur plastered to her body. "Do I smell like it anymore?" She asked.

Jupiternose sniffed the air. "Not that I can tell." She purred.

DangerSight rolled her eyes, not exactly liking TawnyPaw, but then again, who did she actually like besides JupiterNose.

Jupiternose got up. "My paws are itching. Im going on a walk. Dont freeze your paws off, Tawnypaw." Jupiternose purred, watching the apprentice lick her paws vigorously.

Tawnypaw snorted and rolled her eyes.

DangerSight growled a bit at TawnyPaw.

Jupiternose exited the cave with a final flick of her ears. She knew how dangerous it must be to go out in the cold alone when your expecting kits, but they wouldnt come for a little while. She looked around. The snow had gotten more gentle and was falling softly onto the ground.

DangerSight was in a snowy tree, feeling the wind through her fur, but she didn't feel so happy, she wanted to move on, but without Floatfire waking up, she couldn't.

Jupiternose sat down and watched the snow fall.

Tawnypaw was fully dry now. She purred as she felt the warmth flow through her body once more.

DangerSight saw through the snow and looked around her, she saw a fox "TawneyPaw, get up this tree now" she warned her.

Tawnypaw climbed up the tree. "Why?" She asked, looking around.

Jupiternose began to groom herself once more.

"A Fox, you may have an apprentice name, but that fox could snatch you up like a normal kit." DangerSight explained as it went past.

Tawnypaw grew wide eyes and nodded. "I understand." She mewed.

Jupiternose saw the fox and hissed quietly. She flattened herself against the snow, hoping it would pass without her having to blind it.

The Fox trotted along.

DangerSight nodded "You're good now" she said to TawnyPaw.

Jupiternose let out a long sigh of relief.

Tawnypaw nodded and jumped down, begining to play in the snow.

DangerSight smiled, this time, it touched her eyes.

Jupiternose began to scrape her claws against a tree so she could get rid of the bad layer of skin that grew on her claws.

Dangersight was still climbing te tree.
