The New Era.

Fallenleaf pitched in. "Then go get a piece from the fresh-kill pile Lynxeye set up for us at the edge of camp and give it to him." She mewed.

"But I don't wanna." Toadpaw whined.
Patch growled fiercely. "Do I haveta do everything myself?!" He got up and picked himself a mouse.

Fallenleaf and Berrynose looked down at Toadpaw sternly. Fallenleaf looked over at Berrynose. "Mousebile?" She asked.

Berrynose nodded. "Patch, would you mind having a little helper?" He asked.

Patch raised an eyebrow. "I'm listening."
Toadpaw stuck his tounge out. "Can't I just talk to Cometpaw?" He whined.
Duskpelt watched, a flicker of amusement in his eyes.
Redstar turned to the apprintice. "Mind you, they're helping us when they don't need to, we're in their territory and we need to do what they like."
Toadpaw continued whining.
Cometpaw laughed.

Fallenleaf cuffed Toadpaw behind the ear. "Yes." She mewed.

Berrynose purred. "I like your enthusiasm Patch. Well, Toadpaw here would be willing to check your fur for fleas and ticks, he would be willing to bring you fresh-kill, clean out your bedding, and take care of cleaning away your dirt." He mewed.

"No I don't!" Toadpaw whined at Berrynose.
Cometpaw knocked herself down laughing.

Fallenleaf slapped her tail over Toadpaw's mouth. "How about it Patch?" She asked.

"I won't mind it, say...five days?" Patch smiled.
Toadpaw bit down hardly on Fallenleaf's tail.
Cometpaw rolled around in a fit of laughter.

Ragestar returned to camp.

Fallenleaf's fur bristled. "If I werent a Medicine Cat you wouldnt any ears right now, Toadpaw." She hissed through gritted teeth.

Berrynose purred. "Its decided then."

Fallenleaf growled. "Get this cat off my tail before I claw his eyes out!" She spat loudly.

Hawkwing followed Ragestar.

The young cat still held on with all his might.
Cometpaw laughed harder until she thought her head would fall off.

Fallenleaf let out a yowl of rage and drummed Toadpaw on the head with her claws sheathed.


(Its funny when cats do that to small children :3)

Toadpaw held on, his teeth sank in deeper with pain.

Berrynose couldnt watch anymore. He tore Toadpaw off. "Enough!" He yowled. "You are going to take care of Patch without attacking anyone, especially Patch, and you will love it!" He hissed, authority styrong in his voice.

Fallenleaf tore the part of her tail off where Toadpaw had bitten. "Oh no! Now I look like Lynxeye!" She gasped with a purr.

Toadpaw bit Berrynose's paw. "I will not love anything!" He hissed.

Berrynose hissed with fury.

Hawkwing walked over. "Well just do it anyways. You have to listen to your elders regardless." He mewed, pulling Toadpaw off and holding him by the scruff.

Toadpaw scratched at Hawkwing's chest. "He's not my elder, he's Warclan's elder!" He argued.

Ragestar narrowed her eyes at the apprentices "Warclan or not, you will do as HawkWing commands."

"Have you forgotten that your in WarClan territory, and that I can attack you any time I like?" He asked, staring the apprentice in the eyes. "If you dont do it we could always give you longer periods of time and worse jobs..." He mewed, begining to think.

Toadpaw looked at Ragestar. "B-But-this is stupid, I'm not doing it."
Cometpaw stopped laughing.
Redstar was out hunting for Warclan as a minor thanks.

"Oh I beg to differ. It is a great honor to help the elders." Hawkwing mewed.

"No it's not, it's a punishment even I know that." Toadpaw moaned.

RageStar took Toadpaw by the scruffand threw him into the elder's den "You do it, or you die, which one would you like?" she asked.

Hawkwing was suprised at his mate's rising anger. He was suprised he was suprised about it.

Fallenleaf took care of Berrynose's paw.

"...I what?" Toadpaw squeeked. "b-but!"
Redstar walked to Ragestar with seven rabbits and a pigglet from a two-leg place. He dropped the prey unawear of what was happening. "Ragestar, I know it's not much, but this is just my minor thanks for everything you have done for us."
