Another New Begining

Leafpelt stood up. "When your done I will be waiting at the camp entrance." She mewed, walking out of her den.

Flowerpaw bounded up to her mentor. "Ready!" Flowerpaw meowed happily.

Leafpelt smiled. "Then lets go." She mewed, stalking out of the camp.

WhiteStar was teaching Nightpaw how to hunt "Try it"

Nightpaw nodded and did a perfect crouch.

A small she-cat walked into the clearing. She was light ginger and had one piercing green eye, and one piercing blue eye. She was missing an ear.

Nightpaw's deep eyes followed the she-cat, who was beutiful in his eyes.

A leaf cracked behind the she-cat and she bounced forward with a yelp. "Oh.. I thought that was him.." She muttered darkly.

Nightpaw came over to the kit "Hello, would you like to join?" he asked.

WhiteStar smiled sweetly at the kit.

"U-um, sure, why not...?" The kit mewed quietly, cautiously looking around as if thousands of cats were going to crash down onto her at that exact moment.

"our medicine cat should be here in a few minutes" WhiteStar said.

Honeykit came back to her senses a bit. "I am Honeykit. I used to be a loner, sorta, but I lived with a few cats. They fed me until I was old enough to stop suckling from my mother and then they killed her as they usually did and I lost the tip of my ear." She mewed, looking around fearfully again and pressing against the closest cat, who was Nightpaw.

Nightpaw wrapped his tail around the young kit "well, you are safe here." he said reasuringly.

Honeykit let out a rusty purr. It was obvious she hadnt purred very often. "Thank you." She mewed, closing her eyes and enjoying the comfort.

WhiteStar lead her new kit to the warm nursery that had a comforting air in it "Nightpaw will get you a piece of fresh-kill, if you would like, his sister, Flowerpaw shall sleep in the nursery with you if you would like comfort." she said softly.

Nightpaw dashed off to get a fat mouse for Honeykit.

Honeykit nodded. "Only if Flowerpaw would like to." She mewed.

Nightpaw smiled as he dropped the mouse at Honeykit's feet "My sister is a very sweet cat, she would love to." he said.

Honeykit purred. "I am thankful for the mouse I am about to recieve. May we all have plenty of prey." She mewed, begining to chew on it.

WhiteStar smiled.

Honeykit had gulped down the mouse quickly. "Thank you for taking me in. This means so much to me." She mewed.

Nightpaw smiled "We are a welcoming clan you see"

"I am glad." She mewed, washing her delicate wittle paws.

Lowerpaw returned "Do we have a little one here?" she purred at her mother.

"indeed" WhiteStar responded.

"Her name is Honeykit" Nightpae said.

Leafpelt walked over and stumbled back. "Well, it seems that Honeykit needs some treatment. What do we use, Flowerpaw?" Leafpelt asked.

Honeykit looked up at the cats, wonder in her eyes.

"Poppy seeds and cobwebs?" Flowerpaw responded.

Leafpelt nodded. "But, we also need Marigold, and Horsetail if its infected." She purred.

Honeykit didnt understand what they were talking about so she just sat down and listened.
