Home Once More

Sand and Asia looked down at their paws as guilt swept over them in giant waves.

Onewhisker padded over to Sky and rubbed his head against hers. "Why would you kill me, then?" He purred.

Sky snapped at his neck "You touch me, I won't hesitate to kill you, because it would get you out of my way"

"What am I in your way to become then?" Onewhisker snapped back, rage seeming into his soft, loving tone.

"Here comes the good part." Sand whispered extra softly to Asia.

Sky put her head to his "For being one of the most respected cats In this land. And I can't do that with you always on my tail!" she yowled.

Onewhisker flattened his ears. "Oh...." He meowed, turning around and padding out of the cave, his tail drooping.

"Uh oh...." Asia whispered quietly to Sand.

Sky's heart burned with rage and sorrow.

Wolf ran after Onewhisker.

Sun shook his mighty head.

Onewhisker looked up. "Hm?" He asked Wolf, keeping his ears flat and his claws unsheathing.

Wolf sighed "I told you she burns"

Onewhisker sat on his haunches. "I know." He sighed, styaring up at Silverpelt. "But I dont want to leave her, ya know that feeling?" He asked without turning his brown-tabby head.

"Yeah, that's how I feel about Sand" Wolf said.

Asia and Sand were beside the entrance. "Aww!" They both mewed quite loudly. "Males are soo cute and yet soo stupid when they're in love!" Asia purred.

Sand nodded her agreement and sat beside Wolf.

"More stupid than anything else" Sky spat.

"Some girls dont know what they have until its slipped right through their paws." Sand sighed scooting closer to Wolf and leaning against his side.

Asia nodded agreement.

SUn smiled, he was young, but wise.

Wolf purred.

Onewhisker watched the stars. A shower of stars was falling from the sky. "Our warrior ancestors, sending preyers down to those in the forest." Onewhisker meowed.

Sky sat next to Onewhisker "You better get moving" she meowed softly.

"I dont want to leave, Sky." He replied quietly, flattening his ears and readying himself to get hit.

Sky's paws did not lift off the ground for a hit, but her head turned to him "It doesn't matter if you want to, you have to, it's for your own good" she meowed.

"I wish to be with you, Sky." Onewhisker meowed.

Asia got up and stretched. "Ill go out hunting. If he doesnt come down by sunset I will bring most of the food to the Tribe." She promised, gently bounding away.

"You don't understand Onewhisker. I'm not letting you stay. Your family is with WarClan, and RageStar is dying, go, if you come back, you come back, I will not stop you" Sky meowed, looking at him straight in the eyes.

Onewhisker let out a loud purr and butted his head against Sky's. "Fine, I will go help Asia hunt." He mewed, bounding away and over a tumble of rocks.

Sand shook her head and walked into the cave once more.

"Stubborn fox brain." Sky spat and headed for the den "He better not get in my way." she hissed to herself.

Sun chuckled "Just try to understand him young Sky. You shall have your chance at greatness"

Wolf nodded "From the day you came here, a mere to-be, Sun planned greatness for you." he meowed before heading for the den.

Sand curled up exhaustedly in her nest. "Im going to have to hunt twice as hard tomorrow." he sighed, slightly complaining and slightly glad.

Onewhisker sniffed the air and jumped forward confidently, landing on the back of an eagle preying on a rabbit. He bit the bird behind the head as it soared into the air and they both hit the ground, though the bird landed under him weakening the blow from the ground.

Sky looked up at her foster parents "Good night"

(I thought Sun was her foster father e.o)

Sand murmured a quiet good night aloud and fell asleep with her tail over her nose.
